Web Design Portfolio
A web design portfolio should let you check the work, not just admire it. Every project here is a live site: what the client does, what the site had to do, what was built, and a link so you can open it on your phone and judge it yourself.
- Live sites, not mockups
- No invented metrics
- WordPress and WooCommerce builds
- Bangladesh and Canada

How to read it
How to read this web design portfolio
The old version of this page showed twelve thumbnails and about 169 characters of text — pretty, invisible to search, and useless to a buyer. This one is written the other way round: each project explains the client's business, the job the site had to do, and the decisions that followed, so you can judge whether the same thinking fits your project.
Two things to check on every site you open. First, mobile responsive web design: open it on your phone, not your laptop, because that is where most customers will see it. Second, the calls to action: does the phone number dial, does the WhatsApp button open a chat, does the quote form work? A web page design that looks good and fails those checks is decoration, and no portfolio should hide it.
Everything here was built by Selimuzzaman Afridi at WebDesignerBD, mostly on WordPress and WooCommerce, for clients in Bangladesh and abroad. Nothing in this portfolio is invented: where a result is not verified, it is not claimed, and where a project is not yet confirmed by the client, it is marked as pending.

Service business · Ontario & Quebec, Canada · bilingual EN/FR
BlueGuard Duct Cleaning — blueguard.ca
The client
Blue Guard is an air duct and dryer vent cleaning company serving homeowners across Ontario and Quebec. Its customers search by city, in English or French, and decide in minutes — usually on a phone — whether to request a quote.
What the site had to do
Win quote requests from people searching for duct cleaning in their own city, in their own language, and look credible enough to be trusted inside a home. That meant bilingual content, a page for every service area, visible certification and reviews, and a quote path that works on a phone without a single dead button.
What was built
- Bilingual English and French site with matching page structure in both languages
- Service pages for air duct, dryer vent, and related cleaning services
- Service-area landing pages per city (Gatineau among them) written for local searches
- Quote and booking calls to action above the fold on every page, with click-to-call
- NADCA certification and Google review badge placed where a first-time visitor looks
- Mobile-first layout, fast pages, schema, and Search Console from launch

Gonjo — gonjo.com.bd
The client
Gonjo is a Bangladeshi menswear brand selling premium panjabi collections online, with demand that peaks sharply around Eid. Its shoppers browse on phones, compare collections, and expect to order with a few taps — or by messaging in Bangla.
What the site had to do
Sell panjabis across Bangladesh to shoppers on mobile data: make collections easy to browse, make a product page answer every sizing and fabric question, take the order without friction, and give customers who prefer chatting a Bangla WhatsApp order line that lands in the same order flow.
What was built
- WooCommerce store with collection and category navigation built around how customers shop
- Product search, variations, wishlist, cart, and a checkout designed for one thumb
- Seasonal collection banners (Eid Collection) managed by the owner without a developer
- Bangla WhatsApp order line alongside the standard checkout
- Product and category pages structured to rank, with schema and clean URLs
- Owner training so products, prices, and offers are updated in-house

Standard
What every site here includes
Responsive web design is the minimum, not the selling point. These six things are in every project above, whatever the budget.
Mobile responsive web design
Designed on a phone screen first and scaled up, because most Bangladeshi visitors — and most of the clients' customers abroad — arrive on a phone.
Real calls to action
Phone numbers dial, WhatsApp buttons open a chat, forms deliver. No href="#" anywhere — the old site's most expensive mistake.
Search-ready from launch
Titles, headings, schema, sitemap, fast pages, and Search Console connected before the site goes live.
Speed on mobile data
WebP images with explicit sizes, minimal plugins, caching — checked on a mid-range Android over 4G, not on office Wi-Fi.
Owner-editable
WordPress with sensible templates and locked global styles, handed over with a recorded walkthrough in Bangla or English.
Fixed quote, direct developer
Every project was scoped and priced in writing first, and built by the person the client talked to.
Patterns
Web page design decisions you will see repeated
Look across the projects and the same decisions repeat, because they work. One page per service or category, never one crowded page.
The call to action — quote, call, WhatsApp, buy — sits above the fold on a phone, not hidden under a slider. Real photos of the business, the team, and the products replace stock filler. And in Bangladesh, a Bangla or bilingual layout goes wherever the customers think in Bangla.
The second pattern is restraint. Every site here was built with a lean theme, a short plugin list, and images sized for the screen — the unglamorous side of web page design that decides whether a site loads in two seconds or eight on mobile data. Speed is not a feature that was added later; it is how the sites were built.
The third is handover. Each client can edit their own site, because a site the owner cannot change goes stale. That is why these sites look the same a year after launch: the owners are updating prices, photos, and offers themselves, on sites built to survive their edits. If that is how you want yours built, the web development hub explains each service, and the pricing page publishes starting prices.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask about the work
What buyers ask when they are comparing portfolios.
01Why does this web design portfolio feature only two projects in full?
Because only projects where the client, scope, and permission to publish are confirmed get a full write-up. Other work appears as screenshot cards marked pending until it is verified — a portfolio is only useful if everything in it is checkable.
02Can I see the mobile version of each site?
Open any live site on your phone — that is the honest test of mobile responsive web design. Resize your browser window on desktop for a quick preview, but judge on a real phone.
03Do you publish results or metrics for each project?
Only when they are verified. This page describes what each site had to do and what was built; it does not invent traffic, ranking, or revenue numbers.
04What platforms are the projects built on?
Mostly WordPress, with WooCommerce for stores and Elementor for layout — see WordPress development for how they are built lean. Custom code is used where a project needs it.
05Do you build sites like mine?
The featured projects are a service business and an online store, and the pending cards include news, NGO, manufacturing, agriculture, and retail sites. See business websites and ecommerce websites for what each build includes.
06Can I contact a client as a reference?
The featured sites are live and public, which is the most reliable reference: open them, test the buttons, place a test order. Where a client has agreed to be contacted, we will connect you on request.
07How does a project get added here?
After launch, with the client's permission, and with a write-up of the client's business, the job the site had to do, and what was built. Screenshots are owner-supplied and updated when a site is redesigned.
08What does responsive web design mean in practice here?
One site that adapts to every screen: layouts that reflow, images that resize with explicit dimensions so nothing jumps, tap targets sized for thumbs, and text readable without zooming. Every project above is built that way.
A web design portfolio is only as honest as its weakest claim, so this one makes few: two documented builds you can open right now, more pending confirmation, and no invented numbers. If your project is a service business, a store, or something in between, message us with what the site has to do and get a straight answer.
