Who we are

WebDesignerBD is a web design, SEO, and app development studio run by Selimuzzaman Afridi at Jhikargacha, Jashore 7420, Bangladesh. For anything in this policy, contact info@webdesignerbd.cloud or WhatsApp +8801941513827.

What this website collects

There is no login, no comment system, and no advertising or third-party tracking on webdesignerbd.cloud. Our web server keeps only the standard, short-lived technical logs any web server produces, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

The contact and audit forms do two things when you press send. Your device opens WhatsApp or your own email app with the message pre-filled, so you see exactly what will be sent. At the same moment, a copy of the form — the fields you filled in, the page you were on, and the time — is saved on our own server, so we can follow up even if the WhatsApp or email message is never sent.

Only Selimuzzaman Afridi can see these copies, through a password-protected admin app. They are used only to reply to your request, are never sold or shared, and are deleted automatically after 12 months.

The live chat button works the same way: what you type, and the name and number if you choose to share them, are stored on our server so we can reply. A random chat key in your browser lets you see the conversation again on your next visit. Chats are deleted 12 months after the last message, or sooner if you ask.

One small exception worth naming: the pricing page remembers your currency choice (taka or dollars) in your own browser's local storage. That preference never leaves your device and is never sent to us.

Information you send us by WhatsApp, email, or phone

If you message us, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, business information, and project details. We use it for exactly one purpose: replying to you, scoping your project, and delivering the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list.

Those conversations live in the services that carried them — WhatsApp and our email account — and in written quotes and invoices. We keep project correspondence for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards, because clients routinely come back with follow-up work. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as bookkeeping and tax rules require.

The Google Maps embed

The contact, about, and Jashore pages embed a Google Map showing our location. That map is loaded from Google's servers, and Google may set its own cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy and terms. We receive nothing from it. If you prefer, every address on this site is also written out as plain text.

Analytics: our own, anonymous

We count visits with a small script of our own — no Google Analytics, no ads, no cookies, and nothing shared with another company. It records which pages are opened, for how long and how far down they are read, which buttons are tapped (for example WhatsApp, call, or a quote button), the referring website, the device type and browser family, and the city and country that Cloudflare derives from the connection.

Your IP address and the full browser string are never stored. To recognise a returning visit, your browser keeps two random identifiers in its own storage; they are not linked to your name or anything you type. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script records nothing at all.

Detailed visit records are deleted after 30 days; only daily totals (such as the number of visits per day) are kept longer. Only Selimuzzaman Afridi can see this data, in the same password-protected admin app as the form requests.

Client project data

Building or fixing a website usually means you give us access to things — hosting, domain, WordPress, Search Console, sometimes product and customer data inside your store. We ask for the least access needed for the job, and we use it only for the agreed work.

Credentials you share are kept in an encrypted password manager, never in plain-text files, chats we could avoid, or shared documents. On handover, accounts are placed in your name wherever possible, and we recommend you rotate any passwords we used. Copies of your site made during the project (backups, staging) are deleted once the project is closed, unless you ask us to keep a backup.

Your choices and deletion

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including form requests saved on our server, old WhatsApp threads, emails, and files you sent. Email info@webdesignerbd.cloud from the address you contacted us with, and we will confirm within a few business days. The only things we may retain after a deletion request are records we are required to keep, such as invoices.

Changes to this policy

If how this site works changes — for example, if the forms start collecting something new, or analytics is added — this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change. The current version always lives at this address.
