Terms of Service

The standard terms for working with WebDesignerBD — what a quote covers, who owns what on delivery, and the one promise we deliberately refuse to make about SEO. Written plainly, because terms you cannot understand protect nobody.

One note on naming: “Terms and Conditions” and “Terms of Service” mean the same document. This page is that document.

1. What we do

WebDesignerBD, run by Selimuzzaman Afridi from Jhikargacha, Jashore 7420, Bangladesh, provides web development (business and ecommerce websites, WordPress work, speed optimization), SEO services (local, ecommerce, and technical), and mobile app development (ecommerce and WebView apps). The specific things included in your project are the ones listed in your written scope — not everything on the pricing page, and not everything imaginable.

2. Quotes and scope

Published prices are starting points and any number given before a written scope is an estimate. A quote becomes fixed only when the scope is agreed in writing — that document lists what is included, what is excluded, and the price. From then on the price does not move unless the scope does.

3. Payment terms

Payment terms — deposit, milestones, accepted payment methods, and due dates — are being finalised and will be published here. Until then, the payment schedule for your project is stated in your written quote.

4. Revisions and scope changes

Your written scope says how many revision rounds are included; feedback within those rounds is part of the price. A scope change is anything the scope did not include — new pages or features, a redesign of something already approved, extra languages, or new integrations. Scope changes are never a surprise on an invoice: they are priced in writing and agreed before the work happens.

5. Who owns what

When the project is paid in full, you own the deliverables: the website or app built for you, its custom code and design, and the content created for it. Content and materials you supplied were always yours. Domains, hosting, and third-party accounts are registered in your name from the start wherever possible.

Two ordinary exceptions apply. Open-source components (WordPress, plugins, libraries) remain under their own licences — nobody can sell you ownership of those. And we keep our general know-how and internal tools, which we reuse across projects.

Until payment is complete, the deliverables remain our property and we may suspend or take down unpaid work after telling you in writing. We may also show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

6. Third-party services

Projects depend on services we do not control: hosting providers, domain registrars, WordPress and its plugins, payment gateways, and APIs such as Google's. Each is governed by its own terms and prices, billed at cost with no markup. Their outages, price changes, or policy changes are outside our control, though we will always help you deal with them.

7. SEO: what we will not promise

Nobody can guarantee a Google ranking — not us, not any agency, no matter how confident the sales pitch. Google's algorithm is outside everyone's control, it changes constantly, and results vary by market, competition, and starting point. Anyone who guarantees you position one is telling you something they cannot know.

What we commit to instead is the work and the evidence: agreed deliverables done properly, honest monthly reporting from real data such as Search Console, and a straight answer when something is not working. If a result cannot be verified, we do not claim it.

8. Cancellation and refunds

The cancellation and refund policy is being finalised and will be published here. Until then, cancellation handling for your project is stated in your written quote; monthly SEO work has no long lock-in and can be stopped at the end of any month.

9. Doing this properly

We do the work with reasonable skill and care, tell you promptly when something threatens the timeline, and keep you able to walk away with everything that is yours. In return we ask for timely feedback, content, and access — most late projects are waiting on one of those three.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If we ever disagree, we will try a direct conversation first — it has resolved everything so far.
