Duct Cleaning Website Design — BlueGuard Case Study

A duct cleaning website design case study: how a bilingual WordPress site for BlueGuard, an air duct and dryer vent cleaning company in Ontario and Quebec, was built to turn city-by-city searches into quote requests.

  • Bilingual English and French
  • Service-area page per city
  • Quote and booking above the fold
  • Built remotely from Jashore

The client

BlueGuard is an air duct and dryer vent cleaning company serving homeowners across Ontario and Quebec. Its customers search by city, in English or in French, and decide in minutes — usually on a phone — whether to request a quote.

That buying moment shaped every page. A homeowner comparing two cleaning companies on a phone does not read long text; they look for proof, a price path, and a button that works.

What the duct cleaning website design had to do

Win quote requests from people searching for duct cleaning in their own city, in their own language, and look credible enough to be trusted inside a home.

That meant bilingual content with the same structure in both languages, a page for every service area, visible certification and reviews, and a quote path that works on a phone without a single dead button.

What was built

Six pieces carry the site. Each one answers a question a homeowner asks before calling a cleaning company.

Bilingual site, one structure

English and French versions with matching page structure, so every page has a true twin in the other language.

A page per service

Air duct, dryer vent, and related cleaning services each have their own page instead of sharing one crowded page.

Service-area landing pages

A landing page per city, Gatineau among them, written for the way people search locally.

Quote and booking up front

Quote and booking calls to action above the fold on every page, with click-to-call on phones.

Trust where people look

NADCA certification and a Google review badge placed where a first-time visitor's eyes land.

Search-ready from launch

Mobile-first layout, fast pages, schema, and Search Console connected from the first day.

Screens from the live site

Captured from the live site on desktop and phone.

Design decisions behind the build

The quote button never moves. Whatever page a visitor lands on — a service, a city, the homepage — the same call to action sits in the same place, so a second visit needs no searching.

City pages are real pages, not one template with a swapped name. Each one is written for its area, which is what lets a search for duct cleaning in a specific city land on a page about that city.

The site was designed, built, and is supported remotely from Jashore, Bangladesh, for a business in Canada — proof that location does not limit a well-run web project.

Check this work yourself

The site is live. Open it on your phone and test it the way a homeowner would.

  • Switch between English and French and see that the page structure matches
  • Open a city page, such as Gatineau, and compare it with the homepage
  • Tap the quote and call buttons — they should work on the first tap
  • Look for the NADCA certification and the Google review badge

Questions about this project

01

What platform is the BlueGuard website built on?

WordPress with Elementor, set up as a bilingual English and French site with the same page structure in both languages.

02

Why does a duct cleaning website design need a page per city?

Because homeowners search with their city name. A dedicated, genuinely written page for each service area gives that search a page to match, instead of sending everyone to one generic homepage.

03

Can you build a bilingual site like this for my business?

Yes. English and French, or English and Bangla — the approach is the same: matching structure in both languages, so neither version is an afterthought.
