In short
What goes into home furnishing ecommerce website development?
Home furnishing ecommerce website development is about helping someone choose fabric they cannot touch. Each curtain, bedsheet or cushion cover needs large room photos, a short table of what it is made of and how it behaves, a price for every size, and filters that cut a long list down to what fits the window or the bed. For Ryamira that became a WooCommerce store on WordPress with 57 product pages, size options with their own prices, filters by length, price and stock, a quick-specs table on every product, wishlist and compare, and a bottom bar built for phones.

The client: an Indian home textile label
Ryamira is a home textile label from India, run by Hayden Khullar. Its range covers what dresses a room: blackout, printed and sheer curtains, bedsheet sets and quilted comforters, cushion covers, and cotton table runners. The footer lists a business address in Panchkula, Haryana.
Fabric is a hard thing to sell through a screen. A buyer wants to know whether a curtain will darken the bedroom, whether a sheet fits a double bed, and whether the colour on the phone is the colour that arrives. Most of these products also come in more than one size, and the price moves with it.
The job was a home furnishing website that answers those questions on the page itself and stays simple to scroll through on a phone, where most people in India now shop.
The challenge
A home textile online store lives or dies on whether people can find the right size and trust what they see. Four problems shaped the build.
One design, several sizes
A curtain comes in three lengths and a comforter in more than one size — each with a different price in rupees.
Long, similar-looking lists
Twenty-six curtain designs look alike in a thumbnail; shoppers need to narrow them by length, budget and stock.
Touch without touching
Material, light blocking, shrinkage and washing care have to be readable at a glance, not buried in a paragraph.
Phones first
The home textile online store has to work with a thumb: filters, cart, wishlist and account within reach on a small screen.
What the home furnishing ecommerce website development delivered
A WooCommerce store on WordPress, laid out with the WoodMart theme and Elementor Pro, arranged around how people actually shop for a room.
Four live ranges
The curtain and bedding store carries bedsheet sets, curtains, cushion covers and decorative cushions, plus table linens — each with its own sub-ranges such as blackout, sheer, comforters or table runners.
Sizes with their own prices
Variable products let a shopper pick a curtain length or bed size and see the matching rupee price before adding it to the cart.
Homepage that sorts itself
A three-slide hero, category circles with live product counts, and a tabbed row for every range with a load-more button.
Filters that matter
Category pages filter by price slider, curtain length and stock status, with grid density and sort order the shopper can change.
Quick specs on every product
On this home textile online store, a short table covers pack contents, material, sizes, special features, light blocking, shrinkage and washing care.
Big, real photos
Each product on the curtain and bedding store shows a gallery of room shots and close-ups, so the fabric is seen in place, not on a white box.
Wishlist and compare
Shoppers on the home decor store can save designs or line them up side by side before deciding.
Cart now, or checkout straight away
Two buttons on every product: one keeps browsing, the other goes straight to checkout.
Phone bottom bar
On this home decor ecommerce website, shop, filters, wishlist, cart and account sit in a fixed bar at the bottom of the screen on mobile.
Slide-out menu with search
On phones, a side panel holds product search and two tabs: categories and the main menu.
Accounts and reviews
Login and registration, plus a review section with a star breakdown on each product.
Search-friendly structure
A WordPress sitemap, clean category URLs and Product, Offer and Breadcrumb structured data on product pages.
Inside the home decor ecommerce website
These captures come from the public ryamira.com store, taken around 16 October 2026 and placed in desktop and phone frames. A theme promo strip that is not part of the client's offer was hidden on the product capture.
Design decisions behind the home textile online store
Size before price
On a curtain or a sheet, the right price only exists once the size is known — so size options sit directly above the add-to-cart button and drive the price shown.
A table instead of a story
Shoppers comparing two blackout curtains want the same facts in the same order. A quick-specs table gives them that on every product.
Filter by what fits
Length is the first question for curtains, so it is a filter of its own beside price and stock, with a count next to each option.
One row per range on the homepage
Each range gets a tabbed product row with its sub-ranges, so a visitor who came for curtains reaches them without opening a menu.
Thumb-reach on phones
Filters, wishlist and cart live in the bottom bar, because on a phone the top of the screen is the hardest place to tap.
What every home decor store online needs
Planning home furnishing ecommerce website development for your own range? A home furnishing website needs these parts before shoppers trust it with an order.
Room photos, not just swatches
Show the curtain on a window and the sheet on a bed. Scale and drape sell fabric.
A price for every size
Let size options set the price, so nobody has to message to ask.
Specs in a fixed order
Material, size, care and special features in the same table on every product make comparing easy on any home decor store.
Filters for length and budget
With dozens of similar designs, filters do the work a shop assistant would.
Wishlist and compare
Home purchases are rarely made in one visit; a home furnishing website should let people save and come back.
Clear shipping and returns
Fabric buyers worry about colour and fit. On a home decor store, plain and specific policy pages reduce that worry.
A phone-first layout
Bottom-bar navigation and large tap targets matter more than desktop polish.
Structured data
Product and offer markup helps search engines show price and availability next to the listing.

How much does home furnishing ecommerce website development cost?
Online store packages at WebDesignerBD begin at ৳9,999. That is the entry point for a WooCommerce store with a standard catalogue.
A store like Ryamira — variable products priced by size, several filtered ranges, quick-specs tables, wishlist, compare and a phone bottom bar — is priced after a look at the product list. The number of products and sizes, how many ranges need their own layout, and which payment gateway the business uses decide the final figure.
That figure is sent in writing, as one fixed number, before design work begins.

The home furnishing website is public. Try it on a phone, as someone shopping for a new set of curtains would.
- 1Open the curtains range and filter by a length
- 2Open any curtain and switch between 5, 7 and 8 ft — the price follows the size
- 3Read the quick-specs table under the buy buttons
- 4Add a design to the wishlist from the product grid
- 5Use the bottom bar and the slide-out menu on a phone
Questions about this project

02What is the Ryamira store built with?
WordPress and WooCommerce, laid out with the WoodMart theme and Elementor Pro.
