The short answer

How does it work to outsource web development to Bangladesh?

You send a brief by email or WhatsApp, get a written scope and a fixed price in US dollars, pay half by Payoneer or Wise, and review the site on a live link while it is built. When it is finished and the second half is paid, it goes live on your domain and you get every login. The whole project runs remotely, with no office visit needed on either side.

WebDesignerBD is one studio run by its developer, Selimuzzaman Afridi. When you outsource website development here, the person who answers your first message is the person who writes the code, so nothing is lost between a salesperson and a junior. The trade-off is honest: one developer means a limited number of projects at a time, not an army on call.

Clients abroad are already live. The BlueGuard family of sites in Ontario and Quebec, a landing page for a US brand, and white-label builds for other businesses were all done this way. This page explains the practical side of outsourcing web development: time zones, payment, process and what you receive at the end.

How it works

The five steps of an outsourced web development project

Each step of outsourcing your website happens online. You always know what comes next and what it costs.

  1. Brief and first call

Send what you have by email or WhatsApp. A call on Google Meet or Zoom follows if it helps, booked inside your working day where the hours allow.

  2. Written scope and USD quote

A document listing what is included, what is not, delivery dates and one fixed price in US dollars. The price only moves if the scope does.

  3. Advance payment by Payoneer or Wise

Website projects are paid 50% in advance and 50% on delivery, through Payoneer or Wise. Every payment gets a written receipt.

  4. Build on a live link

You review real pages in your browser as they are finished, not static mock-ups. Feedback goes by message, email or a short call.

  5. Launch and handover

After the final payment the site goes live on your domain, with admin logins, source files and a recorded walkthrough handed over.

Who this suits

Who should outsource web development to a small studio

Outsourcing to one developer abroad works well in some situations and badly in others. These are the good fits.

Small businesses abroad

Service companies, shops and brands that outsource website development to get a solid WordPress or WooCommerce site at a price local agencies cannot match.

Agencies with more work than hands

Design and marketing agencies that need a reliable developer for builds, fixes and maintenance under their own brand.

Owners burned by a vanished freelancer

A half-finished or broken site needs one accountable person who audits it, quotes a fix and stays reachable afterwards.

Teams that prefer writing to meetings

A large time difference is easiest when most decisions happen in writing, with a call only when it saves time.

Time zones

Working hours and time zones for clients abroad

Bangladesh is on UTC+6 all year. Online hours are 09:00–23:00 Bangladesh time, every day, which falls into each market like this.

Bangladesh Standard Time is six hours ahead of UTC and does not use daylight saving, per Bangladesh Standard Time (Wikipedia, read November 2026). So the overlap with your day shifts by one hour when your own clocks change, and never because of ours.

The UK gets the widest overlap: 3 am to 5 pm (4 am to 6 pm in summer). On the US East Coast, the hours run 10 pm to noon the next day (11 pm to 1 pm in summer); on the West Coast, 7 pm to 9 am the next day (8 pm to 10 am in summer). Sydney sees 2 pm to 4 am the next day (1 pm to 3 am in winter). In practice, a US client who writes in the afternoon usually has a reply by the next morning.

Outsourcing web development across time zones works best in writing. Messages go through WhatsApp, Email, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, whichever your team already uses. Calls are booked ahead at a time that suits both sides, so nobody joins at midnight.

Honest trade-offs

What to weigh before you outsource web development

Price is the obvious reason to outsource web development to Bangladesh, but it should not be the only one. These are the real trade-offs of working with this studio, so you can decide with open eyes.

The good side: you deal with the developer directly, quotes are fixed and in writing, and the work is open to inspect on live client sites. The limits: one person means a capped number of projects at once, payment is Payoneer or Wise only (no cards or PayPal), and there is no shared office hour for part of the US day.

Speed is measured, not promised in vague terms. Every build is checked against Core Web Vitals, where Google's web.dev guidance (updated October 2024) sets good thresholds of 2.5 seconds for LCP, 200 milliseconds for INP and 0.1 for CLS.

Why this studio

Why outsource to WebDesignerBD instead of an offshore web development agency

Large offshore web development firms sell capacity. A one-developer studio sells accountability. Here is what that means day to day.

The developer is your contact

No account manager relaying messages, the usual weak point of offshore web development. Selimuzzaman Afridi reads your brief, writes the code and answers the follow-up questions.

Fixed USD quotes

Starting prices are the same ones published on the pricing page, converted to US dollars. The final number is fixed in the written scope.

FAQ

Questions from clients who outsource web development

What owners and agencies abroad ask before the first payment.

How do I pay from the US, UK, Canada or Australia?

By Payoneer or Wise. Quotes for clients abroad are in US dollars. Cards and PayPal are not accepted, and every payment gets a written receipt.

What are the payment terms?

Website projects are 50% in advance and 50% on delivery, with the full handover after the second payment. Monthly SEO is billed month to month with no long lock-in. Details are in the terms of service.

How do you handle the time difference?

Online hours are 09:00–23:00 Bangladesh time (UTC+6), 7 days a week. That overlaps most of the UK working day; US clients usually get replies overnight and calls early in their morning or late in their evening.

Who owns the website and the code?

You do, once the project is paid in full: the site, its custom code and design, and the content made for it. Open-source parts such as WordPress and plugins stay under their own licences, and the domain and hosting are in your name wherever possible.

Is there a contract?

Every outsourced web development project starts with a written scope listing what is included, what is excluded, the dates and the fixed price. The published terms of service cover payment, revisions and ownership. No separate NDA or agency contract is signed; the scope and the terms are the agreement.

Can my agency resell the work under its own name?

Yes. Credit is whatever your agency wants, from fully unbranded to a named credit. If you ask, the finished work stays out of the studio's portfolio.

How long does a website take?

About five days for a business site of up to six pages, within seven days for a WooCommerce store, and about one week for most WordPress development or redesign jobs. Your scope states the dates for your project.

Why outsource web development to one developer instead of an agency?

You get direct contact with the person doing the work and fewer hand-offs. The trade-off is capacity: one developer takes on fewer projects at once, so start dates are agreed in the scope.
