Short answer
What is local SEO for HVAC companies?
Local SEO for HVAC companies is the work that gets a heating, cooling or duct cleaning business shown in Google's map results and local listings when someone searches for a service plus a town. It covers the Google Business Profile, a page for each town and service you cover, matching structured data, and steady Search Console care.
Google says local results are decided by relevance, distance and prominence. For a business that drives to its customers, that means the profile has to describe your services exactly, your site has to answer each town's search, and reviews and links have to show people know you. That is why HVAC SEO for a local market looks different from SEO for an online shop. Ads can sit on top of that, but they are a separate budget and not part of this service.
WebDesignerBD is a one-person studio in Jashore, Bangladesh. Selimuzzaman Afridi, the founder, does the work himself, and has worked for BlueGuard Duct Cleaning in Ontario and Quebec for about two years. Their numbers below are real, dated and filtered to Canada.

What's included
What HVAC local SEO work includes each month
The same pillars that sit behind the BlueGuard results, and the core of local SEO for HVAC companies in any country. How many towns and services you cover decides the size of the monthly scope, not which pillars you get.
Google Business Profile set up for a service-area business
Most HVAC contractors visit the customer, so the profile has to be set up the way Google's guidelines describe for service-area businesses: the right primary category, the services you really offer, the area you cover, and a website link tagged so its visits can be measured on their own.
- Categories and services checked one by one
- Service area that matches your real coverage
- Tagged website link for clean measurement
One page per town and per service
People search "furnace repair" plus a suburb, or "duct cleaning" plus a city. A page written for each pair gives Google a precise answer. BlueGuard's page sitemap lists 111 city service pages under /service-areas/ (read 16 October 2026).
- Town and service landing pages
- Local details, prices and questions per page
- Quote and call buttons on every page
Structured data that matches the page
Business, service, FAQ and breadcrumb markup that agrees with what each page says, following Google Search Central's LocalBusiness guide. BlueGuard's homepage is marked up as a HomeAndConstructionBusiness with City service areas.
- LocalBusiness and Service markup
- FAQPage and BreadcrumbList on town pages
- Checked against the live page source
Reviews: asking and answering
A simple way to ask real customers for a Google review after a job, and every review answered in your voice. Reviews are part of prominence. They are never bought or faked; Google removes those and can suspend the profile.
- Review request link and message
- Replies in your tone of voice
- No fake or paid reviews, ever
Guides for people who compare first
Many homeowners read a cost or comparison article before they call anyone. BlueGuard's Ottawa guide earned 31 clicks from 12,925 impressions in Canada, 17 September to 14 October 2026.
- Cost and comparison articles per market
- Linked to the matching town pages
- Written in plain English for your market
Search Console care and a written report
Indexing, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals and the queries each page is shown for, checked every month. You get a written report from the real data, and if a number dropped, it says why.
- Search Console and sitemap checks
- Core Web Vitals on mobile
- Written monthly report

Case study
Local SEO for HVAC companies, shown on BlueGuard's own data
BlueGuard Duct Cleaning cleans air ducts, dryer vents, heat pumps and air exchangers for homes and businesses in Ontario and Quebec. WebDesignerBD built the site and handles its search work. In Google Search Console, filtered to Canada, 17 September to 14 October 2026, blueguard.ca received 293 clicks and 43.9K impressions.
Searches for the brand with “duct cleaning” averaged position 1.0–1.1 (the bare name “blueguard” 2.8). “duct cleaning ottawa” averaged 5.9 and “duct cleaning oshawa” 6.6. The tagged Business Profile link alone brought 55 clicks at an average position of 2.0, all in the same window.
Not everything ranks high, and the case study says so: “duct cleaning near me” averaged 24.7 in that window. Mobile brought 161 of the 293 clicks. The full figures, with screenshots, are in the BlueGuard local SEO case study, and the build is in the BlueGuard website design case study.

Cost
What HVAC local SEO costs, in US dollars
Monthly HVAC local SEO starts at $65 a month. That is the same starting price clients in Bangladesh pay, converted at the indicative rate on the pricing page. Clients abroad are quoted in US dollars and pay by Payoneer or Wise.
The final figure depends on how many towns and services you cover, how many languages you need, and how many pages are missing today. It is agreed after the free audit and written down before work starts. There is no long lock-in: the work runs month to month, with a written report each month.

One town, a few services
A profile, the core town and service pages, schema and reviews for a single market.
Many towns
A page for each service in each town, added month by month, like BlueGuard's /service-areas/ pages.
Agency white label
The same work delivered under your agency's brand, with reports you can pass on.
Working across time zones
Working with a studio in Bangladesh from abroad
Working hours are 09:00–23:00 Bangladesh time (UTC+6), seven days a week. That is 3 am to 5 pm (4 am to 6 pm in summer) in the UK, 10 pm to noon the next day (11 pm to 1 pm in summer) on the US and Canadian east coast, and 2 pm to 4 am the next day (1 pm to 3 am in winter) in Sydney.
You can reach the studio by WhatsApp, Email, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, in English, Bangla, Urdu or Hindi. BlueGuard itself is in Canada, and its site was built and is supported remotely from Jashore. If you would rather hand over whole builds, see outsource web development or hire a WordPress developer.

No ranking promises
Rankings for an HVAC business depend on your market and competitors. What is promised is the work and the real data, not a position.

Questions HVAC owners ask about local SEO
Straight answers before you book an audit.
How long does local SEO for HVAC companies take to show results?
Search Console data arrives a few days late, and Google needs time to crawl and re-evaluate changed pages. Judge the work over weeks and months, comparing the same date ranges, not day by day. The audit gives you a realistic view of your own market.
Can you guarantee a top position in the map results?
No. Nobody controls Google's ranking. What is guaranteed is the work itself and a written report from your real Search Console and Business Profile data.
How much does HVAC local SEO cost?
Monthly HVAC local SEO starts at $65 a month, quoted in US dollars. The final scope depends on your towns and services and is agreed after a free audit. See the pricing page for every starting price.
Is there a long contract?
No. The work runs month to month, with a written report each month, and you can stop when you want.
How do I pay from the US, UK, Canada or Australia?
By Payoneer or Wise. Quotes are in US dollars, so you know the amount before you send it.
Will the time difference slow things down?
Working hours are 09:00–23:00 Bangladesh time, seven days a week, which is 10 pm to noon the next day (11 pm to 1 pm in summer) on the US and Canadian east coast. Messages sent in your evening are usually seen in Bangladesh working hours.
Do you work with agencies that have HVAC clients?
Yes. The work can run under your agency's brand, with credit shown however you prefer. See white label SEO services.
Is BlueGuard an HVAC company?
BlueGuard cleans air ducts, dryer vents, heat pumps and air exchangers, which is HVAC cleaning work. Its search problem is the same as any HVAC contractor's: many towns, several services, and customers who search by service plus town.
