Website Making Cost in Bangladesh: 2026 Price Guide

Ask five web designers in Dhaka what a website costs and you will hear five numbers, some of them ten times apart. That spread is not dishonesty. "A website" covers everything from a three-page brochure to a store with two thousand products and courier integration. This guide breaks the price into parts so you can tell what you are paying for.

The figures below are the published starting prices at WebDesignerBD, a web design studio in Jashore, and they are real numbers you can hold us to. We also explain what makes a quote go up, and what other providers may leave out.

What goes into website making cost in Bangladesh

Every quote, from any provider, comes down to the same five parts:

1. Design and build: the pages, the layout, and how it works on a phone.
2. Content: the text and photos. Either you supply them or the designer writes and sources them.
3. Features: forms, WhatsApp buttons, booking, payments, a product catalogue, multiple languages.
4. Running costs: domain name, hosting, and an SSL certificate, paid every year.
5. Search readiness: page titles, structured data, speed, and Search Console setup. This decides whether Google ever shows the site to anyone.

The fifth one causes most of the problems. A very cheap site usually costs little because it skips it. The site looks fine on launch day and never gets a visitor from Google.

Website prices by type (2026)

These are starting prices, the lowest figure each package begins at. You get the final figure as a fixed written quote once the scope is clear. The full breakdown, with what each package includes, is on the pricing page.

Business websites

A business website for a shop, clinic, firm, or service company is the most common job. It covers your services, prices, photos, location, and a call or WhatsApp button that works on every phone. For most small businesses, up to six pages is enough.

The price goes up with the page count, with a second language (Bangla and English together), and with how much content you supply compared with what the designer writes for you.

Ecommerce websites

The ecommerce website price in Bangladesh depends mostly on the catalogue and the checkout. A standard WooCommerce store with categories, product pages, cart, and bKash, Nagad, card, and cash on delivery starts at ৳10,000. A store with 2,000 products, wholesale pricing, pre-orders, and courier or SMS integration is a different job, and it is quoted as one.

Redesigns and WordPress work

Domain, hosting, and other yearly costs

These are paid every year, whoever builds the site. The ranges are rough guides: prices change with the registrar, the host, and the dollar rate, so check the current price before you buy.

• Domain name. A .com usually costs somewhere around ৳1,200–৳1,800 a year. A .com.bd is registered through BTCL and priced separately.
• Hosting. Shared hosting that is fast enough for a business site typically runs ৳1,500–৳5,000 a year. Ecommerce stores with many products need more.
• SSL certificate. Free certificates from Let's Encrypt come with most good hosts. You should not be paying extra for it in 2026.

What makes a quote go up

• More pages and more languages. Six pages in one language cost less than twenty pages in Bangla and English.
• Content writing and photography. Supplying your own text and photos lowers the price.
• Custom features. Booking systems, calculators, member areas, and third-party integrations each add work.
• Repairs first. If an old site has a hacked plugin or broken redirects, that repair gets scoped and priced before any new work.
• Rush timelines. A two-week job squeezed into four days costs more.

Why some websites cost ৳3,000 and others ৳3,00,000

Very cheap offers usually mean a pre-made theme with your logo dropped in. There is no mobile testing and no SEO setup, and the site often stays in the seller's account. Very expensive offers from large agencies pay for account managers, meetings, and overheads as well as the build itself.

Neither is automatically wrong. The questions that matter are:

• Is the price fixed in writing, with the scope listed?
• Will the domain, hosting, and admin login be in my name?
• Is it tested on a real mid-range Android phone over mobile data?
• Are page titles, schema, sitemap, and Search Console set up at launch?
• Can I edit prices and photos myself afterwards, or do I pay for every change?
• Who do I contact after launch, and how fast do they reply?

If a quote cannot answer these clearly, the low price is probably hiding a cost you will pay later.

Is a cheaper website a false economy?

Often, yes. A site that never appears in Google, or loads slowly on 4G, costs you customers every month it stays online. Rebuilding it a year later means paying twice. A slightly higher price that includes speed and search readiness is usually the cheaper option over two or three years.

How to get an accurate price
