SEO Services Cost in Bangladesh: Real Numbers for 2026

SEO services cost in Bangladesh in 2026, with real numbers: monthly local and ecommerce SEO, one-time technical SEO, and how to spot SEO that wastes money.

Client signing a written project quote across the table at a meeting — every package starts with a fixed price in writing

In Bangladesh, SEO gets sold at every price. Some offers promise "first page in 7 days" for ৳2,000, and some agency retainers cost more than a website. The price alone tells you very little. What matters is what the work covers each month and how you can check it was done.

This guide gives real numbers: the published starting prices at WebDesignerBD. It also explains what drives SEO services cost up or down and how to spot a package that will not move your rankings.

SEO services cost by type (2026)

SEO serviceHow it is billedStarting price
Free SEO auditOne-time৳0
Local SEO (per location)Monthly৳14,000 / month
Ecommerce SEOMonthly৳18,000 / month
Technical SEOOne-time project৳25,000

What each package includes is listed on the pricing page. The final figure is always a fixed written quote.

Local SEO

Local SEO is for a business that serves a city or area: a clinic in Khulna, a showroom in Dhaka, a restaurant in Jashore. The work is your Google Business Profile, citations in directories, reviews, and location pages on your site. Google itself says local ranking comes down to relevance, distance, and prominence.

Local SEO cost depends on how many locations you have and how crowded the map pack is in your category. "Dentist in Gulshan" takes more work than "AC repair in Jhikargacha".

Ecommerce SEO

Ecommerce SEO works on category and product pages, duplicate URLs from filters, and product schema. It gets measured in orders, not only traffic. The price scales with the size of the catalogue and how many categories are being worked on.

Technical SEO

Technical SEO is usually a one-time project: a full crawl, a written list of every issue, and the fixes themselves. It is often the best first spend for an older site. Content and links do little if Google cannot crawl or index the pages properly.

What drives SEO cost up or down

  • Competition. Ranking for "web design company in Dhaka" takes more work than "web designer in Jashore".
  • The state of the site. A slow, broken site needs technical fixes before anything else can work.
  • Locations and catalogue size. Each extra branch or product category adds monthly work.
  • Content. New pages and articles written for you cost more than optimising what already exists.
  • Links and citations. Earning mentions on real, relevant sites takes time. Buying them in bulk is cheap, and it gets sites penalised.

Monthly SEO vs one-time SEO

SEO is not a switch you turn on once. Rankings respond to steady work over months: fixing, publishing, building citations, answering reviews. That is why local and ecommerce SEO are billed monthly.

Technical SEO is the exception. Once the crawl, indexing, redirect, and speed problems are fixed, they stay fixed until the site changes again, so it is priced as a project.

Red flags in cheap SEO packages

  • A guaranteed #1 ranking or 'first page in 7 days'
  • Hundreds of backlinks per month for a fixed low fee
  • No access to your own Search Console or Business Profile data
  • Reports that show only 'keywords ranked', never calls, visits, or orders
  • No list of the work actually done each month
  • A long lock-in contract before any results are shown

A good SEO provider shows you the same Search Console numbers they are looking at. They also tell you what they changed and what they plan to change next month.

What a monthly SEO report should show you

Whatever you pay, the monthly report is how you check that the money bought work. It should come from tools you can open yourself, not from a screenshot you have to take on trust.

  • Search Console numbers. Clicks, impressions, and average position for your pages and the searches behind them, taken from Google Search Console. Ask for the comparison with the month before, not a single snapshot.
  • Business Profile numbers, for local SEO. Calls, direction requests, and website clicks from your Google Business Profile performance view. These are the actions that turn into customers.
  • Orders or enquiries, for ecommerce SEO. Rankings matter only if they bring sales, so the report should connect search traffic to orders where your store can measure it.
  • The work done. A plain list of what was changed, published, or fixed that month, with links, so you can see it on your own site.
  • The plan. What happens next month and why.

If a provider cannot give you Search Console access or a list of the work, treat that as one of the red flags above, whatever the price.

Questions to ask before you pay for SEO

A short conversation tells you more than a price list. Ask these before you sign anything:

  1. Will I get access to my own Search Console and Business Profile, and do they stay in my name?
  2. What exactly is done each month, and how will I see it?
  3. Which pages and which searches will you work on first, and why those?
  4. What happens if I stop after three months? Is there a lock-in or an exit fee?
  5. Who does the work: the person I am talking to, or someone else?

Clear, specific answers are a good sign. Vague promises about "page one" are not.

Is SEO worth it for a small business in Bangladesh?

If customers search Google for what you sell, then yes. Unlike Facebook ads, which stop the day the budget runs out, a page that ranks can keep bringing visits after the monthly work ends, though rankings still need upkeep as competitors and Google change.

New to the terms? Start with what local SEO is or what technical SEO is.

The honest caveat is that SEO needs a website worth ranking. If your site is slow or thin, fix that first. A website speed optimization or a rebuild may be the better first spend. For website prices, see our guide to website making cost in Bangladesh.
